How it works
From a line in your notes to a launched product.
Seven steps. You can stop at any one of them, but every step gets your idea closer to something real, and every contribution gets the right person credit.
-
The idea
Post an idea
Write it in a few lines: the problem, who it's for, what you'd build. No pitch deck needed.
- Public: anyone on SAEDI can read it and join the discussion.
- Private: only the people you invite can see it.
-
The idea
Discuss it with the community
People ask questions, point out gaps and say whether they'd use it. You find out early if your idea has legs.
Every question stays attached to the idea, so nothing gets lost in a group chat.
-
The room
Convert it into a room
When an idea gains traction, the creator turns it into a room: a team space where it actually gets built.
The discussion comes along, so the team starts with context instead of a blank page.
-
The room
Set roles and tasks
List the roles you need and break the work into tasks people can pick up.

The room
Log work. The team approves it.
Every contribution is logged in the room. The team reviews it and approves what was done.
Approved work goes on the record with your name on it. No more "who actually did this?"
-
The credit
Get a verified contribution profile
Your approved work shows up on your profile: what you did, on which project, verified by the team.
Share one link on your resume, on LinkedIn or in an interview.
-
The credit
Get rewarded if it launches
If the project becomes a real product, contributors are rewarded according to their contribution.
Your verified record is what counts, so every approved task matters.
Is my idea safe if I keep it private?
Yes. A private idea is visible only to you and the people you invite. Nobody else can find it or discuss it. You can make it public whenever you're ready.
Who decides how much a contribution is worth?
The team. Every contribution is logged in the room and reviewed by the people you build with before it counts. [Add a line on how rewards are split once the policy is final.]
Is it free?
Joining the waitlist is free. [Confirm pricing for early access before launch.]
Do I need to be a student?
No. We're launching with college students in India first, so campuses get access early. Anyone can join the waitlist.
Got an idea, or the skills to build one?
Join the waitlist and be part of SAEDI's first student communities.
